This short course is designed to introduce delegates to the essential skills required for effective team management. The course defines the management function and outlines the desired characteristics and behaviours of effective business managers. It then introduces the skills and methods delegates can use immediately to assess their team members abilities and motivation, and the tools to manage them effectively.

The objective of the course is to give delegates a comprehensive understanding of the management function and tools to use immediately and effectively.
