Course Overview
A number of studies over the past 18 months have highlighted a shift in what organisations expect from Managers. Instead of relying on formal coaching sessions or structured models, companies are increasingly prioritising real‑time, in‑the‑flow coaching behaviours.
Whilst organisations may still feel they need Managers who can run formal coaching sessions, they also need Managers who can coach in the flow of work — in the corridor, on a call, after a meeting, in a moment of hesitation, frustration, or opportunity.
“Coaching in the Moment” is a fast‑paced, behaviour‑focused programme that equips Managers with the skills to coach confidently in 2–5 minute conversations, without scheduling a session, preparing a framework, or blocking out an hour in the diary.
This is coaching for the real world:
- Short
- Practical
- Repeatable
- Immediately applicable
- Designed for busy Managers
“Coaching in the Moment” builds a coaching culture faster.
A coaching culture is not built through occasional formal sessions.
It is built through hundreds of small interactions where Managers:
- Pause
- Ask
- Listen
- Nudge
- Reinforce
Who Should Attend
This workshop is designed for anyone who needs to guide, support, or influence others during day‑to‑day work. It is especially valuable for:
• People Managers (new or experienced)
Those who want to build confidence having short, effective coaching conversations without relying on formal models or long meetings.
• First‑Line and Frontline Leaders
Supervisors, team leaders, and shift leaders who are expected to give real‑time feedback, redirect behaviour early, and support performance on the spot.
• Managers of Hybrid or Remote Teams
Leaders who need practical tools to coach through screens, spot coachable moments at a distance, and maintain connection and clarity.
• Sales Managers and Sales Leaders
Those who coach deals, behaviours, and commercial thinking in fast‑moving environments where timing and clarity matter.
• Project Leads and Technical Specialists
Subject‑matter experts who guide others informally and need to influence without authority.
• Anyone Responsible for Developing Others
People in roles where supporting growth, capability and confidence is part of the job—even if “manager” is not in their title.
