This course gave an excellent introduction to management skills.  As a first time manager, it provided both the intellectual background and practical solutions which can be used.

Ursula is an excellent trainer and did an excellent job in communicating the content at exactly the right level.  I will be feeding back to our HR person (who identified the course for me) how good it was.

Virtual Course Attended

As someone with no Line Management experience but looking to develop into the area I found this session very informative. It gave me some useful methods and ways of thinking to be able to effectively manage different personalities. I believe my default management style will be a very inclusive style but acknowledging that may not always be appropriate and I may need to move to a more ‘push’ style of management if necessary to reach a team goal.I would recommend this session to others!

Ursula was an excellent trainer. There were only 3 of us on the course and she had asked us all what we wanted to get out of doing the course. I personally feel she met my needs and was able to help me with what I was after. I feel more confident having difficult conversations and will be able to use the techniques she has shown us in the workplace.

She was engaging and made us laugh, while getting across the information that we needed and drawing our attention to key bits.
