Half Price Training for Leicestershire SMEs

One of the UK's top training companies PTP Training & Marketing which has a Leicester head office has been awarded a contract funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) to provide discounted training to all small and medium sized companies throughout Leicestershire.

Any company with an LE postcode employing under 250 staff is eligible for the cut price training which will start from November and will carry on into 2005. Companies signing up to the scheme will be able to send any number of employees to a single one-day programme of their choice at a price 50% lower than the normal cost. This half price offer means that companies will be paying just £150 per delegate per one-day programme.

Fifteen training programmes have been scheduled for November and December covering the full range of management, sales and marketing, customer care and finance courses. The training will take place at a special training venue at High Point in Leicester's city centre. PTP which works with 20% of the FTSE Top 100 companies specialises in small group training where average numbers are just six delegates. This ensures each session is interactive and tailored to meet individual needs.

Commenting on being selected as a training partner in conjunction with the ESF, PTP's founder and managing director Marc Holland says: "This is a wonderful opportunity for local companies to benefit from a generous discount on quality training programmes. Many companies are keen to provide training for their staff but often have tight training budgets. This move means that they can invest in valuable training without major cost implications. "The ESF is right to spend its money like this as staff training proves to be hugely beneficial to the company and the individual. Feedback from our clients has shown staff partaking in training programmes to be better motivated and perform better than those who receive no external training."
