PTP Wins Training Contract for Carshalton College

Carshalton College in Sutton, Surrey has appointed PTP Training & Marketing which has a Leicester head office to provide training within the sales and customer service sector. Entitled the 'Professional Sales Programme 2004' it offers a multi-tied approach to addressing the training needs of individuals with different levels of experience from owner managers of local companies to unemployed people.

The programme is supported by money secured from the European Social Fund. The training throughout the summer consists of five one day seminars and is offered free of charge to all those attending regardless of their needs or experience. The attendees can also go on to gain externally recognised qualifications allowing them to pursue or advance a career in sales.

Marie Palmer, corporate contract manager for Carshalton College explains in more detail; "This course is a great opportunity to highlight the importance of training within the sales environment, particularly as we are able to support it with externally verified qualifications. We are delighted with the uptake of the programme which will benefit everyone regardless of their level of experience."
