Top Year for PTP

Leicester based PTP Training & Marketing is reporting a 16.5% growth over the last 12 months – making it one of its most profitable years in its 15 year history. As a result of the significant growth, the company has also taken on more training consultants – bringing numbers up to 50 and has increased its team of staff at its head office in Loughborough Road.

Within the last few months PTP has been awarded training assignments to provide in-house training courses for the staff at a number of top name companies including the Admiral Group, Baxter Healthcare, JCB, Iron Mountain and Maersk Marine. The training has covered a number of different courses including Change Management, Time Management, Customer Care and Finance.

In addition to new assignments with blue chip companies, PTP has been taken on by Barking & Dagenham Primary Healthcare and has delivered a number of in-house courses for its staff including Finance, Presentations, Creative Problem Solving and Speed Reading. The company is also providing training on Customer Care to 300 staff at Colchester Borough Homes.

To meet the demand of increased business PTP has appointed 13 new trainers. The new crop includes two American trainers - Dr Lani Rasmussen from Chicago who is a leadership and management specialist and Alison Townley, who was previously a partner in an international management consultancy and now focuses on issues such as performance management and personal effectiveness. The company has also appointed former barrister Candida Fridman who is an expert on Employment Law issues and also delivers training on management subjects such as motivation and communication.

Commenting on the significant growth of the company, PTP’s managing director Marc Holland says:

“We are in a very strong position where we are experiencing excellent rates of growth and have built a reputation in providing top quality training to some of the largest organisations across the UK. We now work with 40% of FTSE 100 companies and as a result we are able to attract some of the best training consultants from not just within the UK but from countries such as the USA and Canada.

”I believe that we have an unrivalled team of skilled, knowledgeable and entertaining trainers in the UK today. This is reflected in high levels of repeat business and constantly positive feedback on the quality of the training consultants and the course content.”

PTP has also added to its operations team with the appointment of Dave Bonser as operations administrator and has taken on its first exhibitions manager – Mike Otter.
