Training Description

This 1 day workshop style course identifies the particular legal, and other duties and responsibilities, that are implicitly conferred on a Director immediately upon their accepting the position. It will also consider the change in status and expectation of Directors compared to managers.

The Course Suits

Any person who is, or is about to be appointed a Director, and has had no formal training in their duties and responsibilities, or the consequences of not properly fulfilling them.

15.00 - 16.00 Developing an assertive style

  • what is assertiveness
  • different styles of assertive behaviour and when to use them
  • dealing with aggressive/non-assertive people

16.00 - 16.30 So what is your most productive style ?

  • how do people perceive you
  • how can you improve people's productivity through your actions
