Training Description

This is a trainer-lead, delegate-centred course. Delegates participate through discussion of current situation and how to move to their preferred position.

This personal development training course is available throughout the UK.

CPD Value 5.5 Hours

    10.00 - 11.00 Communication Skills - The Basics

    (Understanding of the underlying attitude and approach to Influencing a given situation)

    11.00 - 11.15 Coffee Break

    11.15 - 12.00 Understanding the difference between positive and negative behaviours utilized in Influencing and recognising the impact of each style employed.

    12.00 - 13.00 Practical Exercises to Reinforce the Theory Learnt

    13.00 - 14.00 Lunch

    14.00 - 15.00 Learning to Listen

    (Concentration on the true objective and understanding how prejudice and bias can also influence the outcome of a given situation)

    15.00 - 15.15 Tea Break

    15.15 - 16.00 Putting it into Practice and Feedback

    (Working through Influencing Exercises and the impression given by the Influencer)

    16.00 - 16.30 Action Plans for Future Influencing Opportunities Agree
